SINGAPORE - Audi has unveiled its new model Q5 on a 400-square-metre iceberg at Boat Asia 2009.

Audi unveils new model at Boat Asia
The iceberg, located at Marina at Keppel Bay, contains an array of multi-media configurators and displays about the new car.

“Boat Asia is the ideal platform for Audi to showcase our latest SUV. Sailing is a sport that demands constant innovation from both man and machine. At Audi, we demand the same of our cars. The Q5 exemplifies Vorsprung durch Technik, Audi’s commitment to stay ahead through innovation and pushing the limits of technology and design,” said Reinhold Carl, managing director of Audi Singapore.

According to Carl, Audi’s market share in Singapore “continues to climb” and “in the first quarter of this year it hit 11.8 per cent, which represent a quarter-on-quarter increase of 2.1 per cent.”

The Audi Q5 has sold more than 18,000 units globally.
