ATV names new CEO

HONG KONG - Asia Television (ATV) has named Nancy Hu Gin-Ing (pictured) as its new chief executive officer.

Hu will report to the boards of directors of ATV, effective immediately.

Hu will fill the vacancy left by Ricky Wong Wai-Kay, the former ATV chairman who resigned after being on board for only 12 days last December.

Hu, a certified public accountant and veteran in the media and telecommunications industry, was most recently vice- chairman/president of Videoland in Taiwan from 2003 to 2008. Prior to that, she was general manager for etKING Media Technology. Hu is currently as member of Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival Executive Committee.
