Under the ten-month contract, the agency will be responsible for formulating and implementing effective public relations and communications strategies over the campaign-period and leveraging on its core regional contacts to reach out to key foreign media.

The APB Foundation Signature Art Prize is a triennial, premier juried prize established by APB Foundation in partnership with Singapore Art Museum (SAM).

The second instalment after the inaugural initiative in 2008, the Signature Art Prize awards artists in the Asia Pacific region who work with all forms of contemporary visual art.

Tan Boon Hui, director of SAM, noted that Fulford PR’s competencies and strength in the arts promotion is clearly evident.

“We have established a good working relationship, having worked with them for more than a year on other major projects. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with them in this project,” he added.

SAM has been a longstanding client with Fulford PR, having appointed the agency on retainer to handle the museum and Singapore Biennale 2011. National Heritage Board, the museum’s overseeing body, has also awarded the agency a one-year retainer.

Linda Fulford, managing director of Fulford PR, said, “We at Fulford PR always have an affinity with art and we believe art enhances appreciation of culture and creativity in society. We are humbled to be working with SAM on this premier project, as it notably demonstrates our strength and affirms our standing in the arts landscape.”
