Advertising Week Freshman: Mariam defends her career choice

NEW YORK — Huge design editor Mariam Aldhahi continues her journey through her Advertising week debut.

One of four first-time showgoers who have agreed to share their experiences with Campaign US, Aldahi talks about how she "fell into" advertising and how it changed her attitude about the industry.

She also discusses the tendency to lump Millennials together into a single archetype — a strategic error with an audience that expects ever-greater degrees of personalization.
