The collaboration between Abang.com and Baidu, Zhidao.abang.com, is expected to create more convenience for current users of About.com. About.com uses Baidu Knows' technical platform and interface which means users can now directly search and receive answers upon submitting questions within Abang.com.

Abang.com currently registers five million unique visitors per month on average, seeking lifestyle advice and solutions to daily problems. Bear Chen, brand manager of About.com China, said the partnership will create a reliable and practical environment for users looking for answers to their problems.

Abang.com in China is owned by About.com, which is a US-based The New York Times Company. About.com established Abang.com in 2008 as its first fully-owned foreign venture.

Abang.com hosts local grassroot experts to contribute experiences and guides in up to 12 different channel categories including fashion, food, health, hobbies and digital.
