TBWA\Malaysia today announced that CEO Aaron Cowie will leave the agency in October.

He will be replaced by Yee Hui Tsin, currently chief operating officer at TBWA\Malaysia, who will become managing director. TBWA did not give a reason for Cowie’s departure, saying that he will “share his future plans in due time”.

Cowie joined TBWA in 2006 as head of account management, before becoming COO in 2007 and finally CEO in 2011. He is also vice president of Malaysia’s 4A’s.

Yee joined the agency in 2009, and was promoted to COO in 2016.

Ian Pearman, TBWA\Asia president, said: “Aaron has spent a decade building a fantastic team. We are incredibly grateful for his drive, energy and commitment over so many years, and he will leave us in October with the ultimate legacy, a fantastic successor.”
