Telkomsel consolidates digital account with local shop Narrada

According to a source involved in the pitch, more than 15 digital agencies participated in the pitch, with six being shortlisted subsequently. They were Yolk, Iris, Fortune Digital, Bates CHI & Partners, Leo Burnett, and Narrada.

Bates CHI & Partners, Leo Burnett, and Narrada competed in the final round, before the appointment of Narrada was confirmed recently.

Telkomsel was working with incumbent Bubu and Narrada in the last two years, under contracts that ended in April.

The appointment will see Narrada responsible for end-to-end digital, tasked to develop, execute and manage integrated digital campaigns and activations across multiple platforms, including digital strategic planning, creative, production, social-media management, as well as digital planning/buying.

When contacted, Rizky Muhammad, Telkomsel's general manager marketing media channel confirmed Narrada's appointment. “We have high expectation and will continue to prioritise and strengthen our effort on digital in the upcoming years”, said Rizky. “Narrada clearly demonstrated the innovative thinking, digital experience, supported by strong team, local insights and know-how that allow us to effectively engage with our audience in meaningful ways.”

The pitch was managed and run by R3.
