Cassels has left the agency to pursue new career opportunities. Industry rumour has linked his move to the recent departure of BMW Asia from Publicis Worldwide, in favour of Y&R.

“[Cassels] has played an important role in the creative transformation of the Publicis Singapore office and the whole agency wishes him the very best in his next career move,” Bramham said.

“We are going to take this opportunity to refocus our integrated Southeast Asian operation with Singapore at its centre across brand, digital, design and shopper,” he added.

Bramham took on the expanded role in Southeast Asia in August 2011. He was previously the CEO of Publicis Malaysia and Indonesia.

Prior to taking up the role at Publicis Singapore, Cassels was head of Saatchi & Saatchi in Japan, which subsequently became Saatchi & Saatchi Fallon Tokyo. He also served as CEO of the now defunct Publicis Japan.
