Isobar appoints regional practice leader on social and analytics

ASIA PACIFIC - Isobar has announced the appointment of Arvind Sethumadhavan as practice leader on social and return-on-investment (ROI) analytics for the Asia-Pacific region.

Sethumadhavan, who will join Isobar on 1 August, will be based in Singapore and report to Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar Asia-Pacific.

He has a strong background in social media marketing, ROI and measurement.  He has two decades of experience in advising multinational corporations including Unilever, Ford, Samsung, Shell and HSBC on improving ROI for their online and offline marketing efforts using leading edge analytics.

Prior to joining Isobar, Sethumadhavan was CEO of JamiQ, one of Asia’s leading social media intelligence providers, where he actively collaborated with Asian marketers to adopt social media marketing best practices.  Before JamiQ, he spent 10 years leading business science practice at GroupM and has steered client relationships at both the regional and global levels.

In another significant regional hire, Isobar recently appointed Howard Smith as integrated business director for Asia-Pacific.
