X-Men | Mrs Smith Meets Mr X | Vietnam

Vietnam is getting its very own Brad Pitt in the latest ad for personal care brand X-Men from the International Consumer Products Corporation.

X-Men has an extended product line encompassing perfume, shampoo, shower gel and more. It is positioned as the brand for ‘real men’.

TBWA\Vietnam has created a parody of the box office hit Mr & Mrs Smith. Agent X is on a mission to stop a terrorist attack at a world peace conference. He has to take on the big villainess, who happens to be just as beautiful as him.

“The brief from the client was to inject more high-action into its brand. Naturally, we felt inspired to use the genre of Hollywood action films.” said Patrick Tom, executive creative director at TBWA.

People can stay tuned to the X-Men website as the campaign will be releasing more action in later phases.

Dustin Nguyen is the face of the X-Men campaign. The American-Vietnamese actor, director and martial artist is known internationally for his roles in movie Little Fish and drama series like 21 Jump Street and V.I.P.
