Lego and Lamborghini collaborate on new-car launch in China

An elaborate car-show-style launch event for the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 isn't exactly what it appears to be.

A stage. A dramatic, teasingly slow reveal of a new car. Elaborate projection effects.

The video above looks like it was shot at a major car show, but in realty it's an elaborate miniature car reveal staged and shot by Lego for its 1:8 version of the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.

The real Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, released in 2019, has a V12 engine and hybrid technology. Lego's fluorescent green beast also includes the V12 engine, a moveable rear spoiler, suspension and a steering system.

The campaign, which promoted the Lego set to fans online, is a partnership between Lamborghini and Lego, produced by Lego's team in China. The official Lego toy went on sale in China on June 1.
