Dulux TVC shows paint that can stand up to ‘A lot of living’

NEW ZEALAND - Dulux, through Clemenger BBDO Wellington and director Pete Circuitt of The Sweet Shop, is using animated children, dogs, and wine spills in a new TVC stressing the washable qualities of its Colours of New Zealand range.

wide player in 16:9 format. Used on article page for Campaign.

The 30-second piece, aptly titled ‘A Lot of Living’, features a cast of characters including a shaggy, wet dog and a pair of ice-cream-cone-wielding kids, all of whom slide along the walls in stylised, painted silhouettes—leaving behind a trail of destruction.

The TVC is meant to stress that while life can throw a lot of muck and accidents at your average New Zealand wall, the paint, which comes in colors inspired by the New Zealand landscape, cleans off easily, according to the companies.

This is the second collaboration between The Sweet Shop, Clemenger BBDO Wellington and Dulux in this series. The first, 'Weather', focusing on Dulux Weather Shield paint, was directed by The Sweet Shop's Melanie Bridge in March.
