Roberts is said to leave on 31 December to pursue a career in technology-related public policy.

Wang has a long association with About.com, including a 12-year stint in the US operation before relocating to Beijing as vice president of technology. He is one of the pioneers that launched About.com China in 2007.

Wang has been overseeing the editorial content, product development, technology and strategic relationships for About.com China.

“We are confident that our network of expert guides and solid team will continue to provide trusted advice and information to an ever-growing number of netizens in China,” said Wang.

About.com China recently partnered with MSN to launch co-branded portal Msn.abang.com.
