Update: Mindshare tipped to retain Nike in China pitch

CHINA - Mindshare has prevailed against Dentsu Aegis Network and Starcom in a pitch for Nike's media business in the running category in China, according to multiple sources.

The pitch encompasses planning and buying for traditional and digital media, a chunk of business that is worth approximately US$20 million, according to sources.

The pitch reportedly took place several weeks ago. 

A request for confirmation from Nike went unanswered, and the agencies named above declined to comment.

Update: This story was updated after initial publication when sources confirmed Mindshare has retained the business
