Unilab pitches $144 million media

MANILA - Unilab, a regional healthcare company and one of the Philippines' largest pharmaceutical manufacturer, has called a pitch for its media account.

Three agencies including Mindshare, Universal McCann and the incumbent Starcom are believed to be in the fray. According to sources close to the account, Unilab's billings in the market are US$144 million.

Unilab, counted among the top five advertisers in the Philippines, manufactures and markets a wide range of prescription and consumer health products covering all major therapeutic categories. Many of its brands have a good presence in Southeast Asia.
