The contract does however not cover Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which was won by Vivaki, the incumbent on the account alongside Group M's Kinetic.

The account was awarded following a pitch called in August, also involving Kinetic. It is estimated that Uni-President China's annual spending on OOH is up to RMB100 million (US$14 million).
