Type away to win Audi A1 goodies in Hong Kong on Facebook

Audi A1 has launched an online game via Facebook, marking its biggest digital marketing campaign on social media in Hong Kong.

Type away to win Audi A1 goodies in Hong Kong on Facebook

The ‘Audi A1 speed typing’ project is developed by local agency Pacific Link iMedia. They won the full digital communications business for Audi A1 in Hong Kong following a three-way pitch.

The competition is searching for the fastest typers in Hong Kong for the chance to win Audi merchandise. Partipants can ‘unlock’ different functions within the game to advance.

The campaign is also linked with the Audi A1 website. A second phase is in the works.

Moski Mok, business development director at Pacific Link, said, “Only an official website is not viral enough to spread WOM among social media but it is highly viral to have a Facebook game with an auto-feed function.”

Audi will celebrate the arrival of A1, the latest addition to its fleet, in Hong Kong on 15 October with local band Mr and international mega-star Taio Gruz. People can register on the Audi’s site for a chance to win entrance to the launch party.
