Marketforce, a Perth-based marketing communications and advertising agency, has lured Rick Multari back to Australia as director of client services.

He will add significant strength to the agency’s management team as it seeks to both build its client base and strengthen links with Asia.

Marketforce chairman and CEO John Driscoll said securing Multari for such a strategically important role at the agency represented a significant coup for the business.

“Rick began his career in Perth, but has since been very successful overseas – and has built up a wealth of experience over the course of more than a decade working with some of the biggest names in the business,” said Driscoll.

“We feel very lucky to have been able to lure him back to Perth to join the Marketforce team in a leadership role,” he added.

Multari worked with clients including Adidas, British Airways, Unilever, Glaxosmithkline and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, as well as working on a successful campaign to expand the Shangri La Hotels and Resorts group’s Asian operations and launch it into the North American and European markets.

For his part, Multari said he was excited about his new role. “I’m looking forward to bringing some of that experience to Marketforce, and working closely with John and the team to develop talent into leaders both within the agency and the industry and helping build the agency for the future.”
