Sun Life Financial CMO Rob Burr quits

ASIA-PACIFIC - Rob Burr, Asia chief marketing officer for Sun Life Financial has resigned, and is tipped to take up a vice-president marketing role at Swiss Re, starting next week.

Burr (pictured) has been in the chief marketing role for Sun Life Financial in Asia since May 2007. Previously he was vice president of marketing, worldwide accident and health, for the American International Group (AIG)  for five years.

Before joining the client side, Burr was regional business director for Asia Pacific at FCB for four years, as well as managing director of OgilvyOne in Malaysia for two years.
