SMG Philippines picks up four wins including Coca-Cola and Smart Telecom

MANILA - Starcom MediaVest Group Philippines has expanded its roles with Coca-Cola and Smart Telecommunicaitons and picked up work for Unilab and Liwayway Corp.

The agency has now expanded its agency of record remit for Coca Cola to include connections planning and has grown its work with Smart Telecommunications to include digital and outdoor.

Philippines-based pharmaceutical company Unilab has also chosen SMG as its agency of record both for traditional and digital, while local snack company Liwayway Corp has appointed SMG as AOR for its flagship brand, Oishi. 

“The wins are part of my predecessor’s, Joanna Mojica’s, business acumen and efforts," said Leah Besa Jimenez, CEO Starcom MediaVest Group Philippines. In all four pitches, she added, digital capabilities represented an important component and reflected the industry's state of disruption. "The speed at which people now move between mobile devices, is at a pace that we’re never seen before."
