Silvia Goh joins Starcom MediaVest to lead new entertainment division

SHANGHAI - Former VP of multi-platform, creative and content at MTV Asia Silvia Goh has joined Starcom MediaVest China as managing director of its new entertainment division LiquidThread.

Goh (pictured) came on board Monday and reports to Bertilla Teo, Greater China CEO of Starcom MediaVest Group.

Goh has been with MTV Asia-Pacific based in Singapore for three years. Prior to that, she was with MTV China in Beijing for four years.

LiquidThread is Starcom MediaVest’s new global initiative, merging the group's three existing content units Starcom Entertainment, Connective tissue and Pixel.

The digital-led entertainment division was launched in New York and Chicago during April, positioned as a one-stop shop providing integrated marketing solutions in the entertainment sector. Among others, it aims to change consumers' behaviour through social media and branded entertainment content.
