BEIJING - BusinessWeek has appointed Ruder Finn as its communications partner for the publication's CEO Forum in Beijing.

Ruder Finn is charged with managing the communications duties associated with the annual event, running next month in its 13th consecutive year.

Among the agency’s duties is the job of working with speakers and delegates; organising invitations; and developing programme materials.

The forum, which will be held under the theme ‘Post-recession world economy and China’, aims to address CEOs’ strategic agendas in Asia, as well as discuss business practices and the evolving role of the chief executive.

In the past, the CEO Forum has featured guests including Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, China’s former vice premier Zeng Peiyan, chairman and CEO of China Mobile Wang Jianzhou, and CEO and co-founder of Skype Niklas Zennström.
