OMD retains China Telecom after five-way pitch

Following its win in April 2012, OMD again participated in a five-way pitch against GroupM, GDAD and two local agencies to beat them in June.

The third-largest telecommunications provider in China conducts annual agency reviews according to its company policy.

In its second consecutive year of servicing the account, OMD will be responsible for traditional media planning & buying that excludes CCTV.

Scope of work is tipped to include media strategy, execution and performance evaluation for Tianyi Fei Young and e-Home.

Charm Communications still handles the client's CCTV media buying duties.
