The appointment will see Walker returning to Ogilvy & Mather, where he will work closely with Peachy Pacquing, head of country, Mike Sicam, creative director for OgilvyOne, and the creative directors for Ogilvy & Mather Advertising, Lito Gemora, Gerry Cacanindin, Alnair Langkay, and Angie Tijam.

“[Walker] is no stranger to Ogilvy,” said Eugene Cheong, regional creative director at Ogilvy and Mather Asia Pacific. “He will give Ogilvy Manila the creative impetus it needs.”

Most recently with BBDO Malaysia as the executive creative director, Walker was credited with award-winning creative work at AdFest and the Effies. He was previously the creative director of Ogilvy Malaysia and associate creative director of Ogilvy Vietnam.

Taking over from Arvin Sanchez, Azarcon meanwhile has over 15 years of experience in print production and graphic design, both in creative and operations.

He joined RedWorks from Sushi Graphics’ sister graphic design studio Ignition, where he was the managing director and head of creative. He worked with clients such as SMC, Ayala Corporation, PLDT, CIBO, John Wiley & Sons, Landco, and Filinvest.

“[Azarcon] brings to RedWorks his deep understanding, as well as hands-on involvement in the business of creative delivery,” Pacquing said. “His critical combination of skills and knowledge will propel RedWorks forward to support the Ogilvy Group's aggressive three-year plan.”
