TOKYO – Neverblue, a Canada-based digital and performance marketing company, is to expand into Japan through an alliance with domestic performance marketing firm Adjapon.

The two companies will work together to develop sales in Japan and internationally. In a statement, Neverblue’s vice-president of sales and business development, said the move was “an important step” in the company’s Asian expansion plans. Last year, the network opened an office in Hong Kong.

He said Adjapon and its clients would benefit from access to “millions of foreign customers across search, social, display, mobile and email channels on the Neverblue platform”.

Adjapon is a subsidiary of F@N Communications. Neverblue is a subsidiary of Velo Holdings, which was reported to have filed for bankruptcy in April, with debts of more than US$1 billion. At the time of the filing, Neverblue issued a statement to clarify that its business was "fundamentally strong" and would not be impacted by the proceedings.
