SINGAPORE - Erik Ingvoldstad (pictured), ECD of MRM Worldwide Australia and regional creative director of MRM APAC, will relocate to its office in Singapore to helm its creative department.

Ingvoldstad's move will be effective from 1 October. He replaces Andrew Mason who is leaving to pursue other opportunities. He will partner managing director Joan Deni.

Ingvoldstad will also have a strong focus on his regional creative director responsibilities, working closely with the rest of the MRM APAC regional team.

A 10-year veteran of MRM Worldwide, he spent the first seven years as a copywriter and creative director in the network’s Oslo agency. In January 2007, he was named ECD of MRM in Sydney, and was promoted to his current position as APAC regional creative director earlier this year.

“We have been gaining momentum over the past few months here in MRM Singapore, and we have some really great projects in the pipeline,” said Deni. “I’ve had the good fortune to work with Erik on a few regional projects, and he’s a creative force with an incredibly strategic core.”

“Strengthening our Asia-Pacific operation has been a key focus of MRM’s executive leadership for the past few years,” added Bill Kolb, MRM Worldwide’s COO. “Moving Erik to Singapore puts him in a position to have an even greater impact on the creative product in the region.”

Separately, General Motors (GM) recently handed MRM Worldwide two new projects for its used car unit ChevyOK Chevrolet in Thailand.
