In her new role, Lam will report directly to Linda Lin, vice president of Mindshare China, tasked to lead the Guangzhou office in strategic business development as well as operations.

Her predecessor Xu will leave the agency in August to pursue personal interests.

“May has been with the Mindshare network for 13 years and has worked in both the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices in multiple categories including beauty, luxury and FMCG," Lin said of Lam, who has proclaimed that she "loves Mindshare".

Lam's client experience include Estee Lauder, HSBC, L'Oréal, Nike, Gap, Kimberly-Clark, Diageo, Ford China and Volvo.

Fluent in Mandarin, English and her native language Cantonese, Lam is a graduate of Hong Kong University and has worked within the mainland for the past eight years.
