MediaCorp appoints Patrick Yong as MD for MediaCorp Press, Philip Koh as MD of Interactive Media

SINGAPORE - MediaCorp has appointed Patrick Yong (pictured) as managing director of MediaCorp Press.

The appointment is effective from April. Yong takes over from Philip Koh who will assume the position of managing director of MediaCorp Interactive Media on the same date.

Yong started his career as a journalist before joining MediaCorp in 1998.

He was instrumental in setting up the sales team at MediaCorp Press in 2002 and has spent the last two years as SVP/ head of sales (News, Radio, Print & Ethnic) where he integrated the sales functions of the various platforms under his charge.

In his new role, he will report to Shaun Seow, deputy CEO (News, Radio, Interactive & Print).

In January, MediaCorp appointed Thomas Ang, former managing director of EC-Ad Media, as its head of out-of-home media.
