SYDNEY - McDonald's, in partnership with AOR DDB Sydney, has launched a new TVC titled 'Playland' in Australia, its biggest brand TV commercial in the country to date

McDonald's launches biggest yet TVC 'Playland' in Australia

The 60-second TVC features office workers discovering McDonald's largest ever Playhouse while on their daily communte in Sydney's city centre. Although reluctant at first, people soon get involved, letting out their inner child, laughing and playing to the soundtrack of I'm into something good in their work best.

The three-storey high structure includes a Fillet-o-Fish bouncer, a Ronald McDonald bench, slides, tubes and a giant Hamburgler swing.

A few members of the public are mixed in with the cast largely consisting of professional actors.

The TVC marks national executive director Matt Eastwood's last project for DDB Sydney before departing for the agency's New York office. Eastwood is the mastermind behind ‘There's nothing like Australia' for Tourism Australia. He has spent the past four years at DDB Australia.

A 30-second version of the TVC will launch next month.
