Maxus appoints Shepherd for digital

MELBOURNE - GroupM subsidiary Maxus has appointed Mindshare's associate business director Ben Shepherd (pictured) to the newly created role of digital director in Australia.

Based in Melbourne, he is charged with organising Maxus’s digital strategy, planning and development for the agency’s key clients including Ferrero, Sanford, Shell and Toshiba.

Prior to joining Mindshare in 2007, Shepherd held positions at News Digital Media and Yahoo. He is also the co-author of industry blog Talking Digital.

Shepard’s hire parallels Maxus Australia’s ongoing restructure and follows the recent appointment of Neil Stewart as Asia-Pacific CEO.
