Madison Media Plus COO Praveen Sharma moves to Google India

NEW DELHI - Praveen Sharma, COO of Madison Media Plus who led the Bharti Group business, is moving to Google India after six years with the company.

It is not clear what Sharma’s new role at Google India is yet, but Ashish Singru will succeed Sharma at Madison.

Singru joins from his last post as group manager of marketing analysis and planning for the corporate marketing group at Microsoft in the US where he spent six years.

A 14-year veteran with extensive experience in marketing, media and analytics, Singru is an IIT Kanpur graduate with an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Punitha Arumugam, CEO of Madison Media Group, said, “I am delighted to have Ashish in my team and I am sure he will bring fresh thinking and a fresh approach based on his experience in the US, which will help us take Airtel to the next level of success.”
