Leo Burnett hires operations, content director in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Leo Burnett Group Singapore has named Steve Rushbrook to the newly created role of operations and content director, to support further integration within the group.

“Steve is a very important piece of the puzzle that was missing from our structure as an integrated communication provider,” John Kyriakou, CEO at Leo Burnett Group Singapore, said.

“His valuable experience in the area of working with different disciplines to put them together as one seamless and integrated resource is exactly what we need to bring about more efficiency for our clients. We welcome him on board with us as we continue to improve and grow into our next phase.”

With 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, Rushbrook was most recently the national managing partner of Ogilvy South Africa.

Prior to that, he was the chief information officer at The Jupiter Drawing Room in Johannesburg, leading the digital setup to handle businesses like Coke FIFA 2010 advertising. He was also previously the general manager of Ogilvy RedWorks in Singapore where was instrumental in the launch and development of the agency, including the introduction of Digital Asset Management.

The appointment comes on the back of an expansion that has seen the agency more than double in size over the last three years.
