Kinetic hires Billy Leong as GM in Beijing

BEIJING - WPP's outdoor media agency Kinetic has appointed Billy Leong as general manager at Kinetic Beijing with immediate effect.

Leung is tasked with the strategic development, operations and business development of Kinetic in Beijing. He brings with him 16 years experience in the China advertising industry having worked in both multinational and local agencies.

Prior to joining Kinetic, Leung was the business director of OMD and M2M Beijing where he earned a a strong track record on new business development at OMD and its affiliated creative agency, TBWA.  

Leung will be based in Beijing and report directly to Jim Liu, president of Kinetic China.

"I am very pleased to welcome Billy to the Kinetic family. Billy's extensive media knowledge, creativity, strong business acumen and leadership will further strengthen our business in the Beijing office," said Liu.
