Burke will manage Interbrand’s worldwide marketing and brand-building activities and drive the intellectual capital, communications and marketing initiatives of the firm, both internally and externally. Based in New York, she will report directly to the branding consultancy's global CEO Jez Frampton.

“Karen is the perfect choice for this role,” Frampton said. “She brings a unique blend of account management, business development and digital strategy to Interbrand."

Burke began her career at Procter & Gamble where she led marketing operations teams and developed its shopper marketing practice. Following that, she assumed senior leadership roles at ARS/comScore, Resource Interactive, and Jager DiPaola Kemp Design. Her clients included Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Unilever, and LucasFilm.

Founded in 1974, Interbrand has 40 offices in 25 countries, and is widely recognized for its Best Global Brands report - an annual ranking of the world’s most valuable brands.
