Kao Malaysia selects Optimedia as media agency-of-record

KUALA LUMPUR – Kao, a personal care and household product brand in Malaysia, has appointed Optimedia as its media agency-of-record following a review.

Optimedia Malaysia will now take on media planning and buying for Kao Malaysia’s portfolio of personal care and household product brands, including Biore, Laurier, Liese, Asience and Kao Attack.

Murakami Yoshihiro of Kao Malaysia said Optimedia Malaysia displayed the attributes and strategies necessary to further evolve Kao's media development.

Wong Piyee, managing director of Optimedia Malaysia, added: “We will now look forward to repaying the client’s faith in us by delivering results for their brands’ media investments, through our ‘Live ROI’ preposition.”
