Iris Worldwide bags top honour at PMAA

KUALA LUMPUR - Iris Worldwide Group won the best promotion marketing campaign for its 'christmas tree' campaign for Heineken at the The Dragons of Asia Promotion of Marketing Awards of Asia 2012.

TBWA/Tequila Kuala Lumpur won the best in Malaysia Dragon, best digital promotion and the best use of internet in a campaign, as well as a bronze in brand awareness for its 'OSK investment challenge' campaign for OSK Investment Bank Malaysia. 

As part of its plan to recognise more local agencies this year, The Dragons of Asia launched the Dragons of Malaysia. As a result 50 gold, silver and bronze dragon winners will now be taking part in the 2012 MAA Worldwide Globes.

"This year the Dragons received more campaigns which were far more focused on sales tasks and included multiple layers of activation," says Mike Da Silva, Director of the PMAA Dragons of Asia. 

Among other winners were G2 Kuala Lumpur, which won a gold for best innovative idea or concept for Chinese New year 'reuinion' for Procter & Gamble.  The agency also won a gold for best brand building campagn for Unilever Malaysia. 

McCann Erickson Malaysia won the best B2B campaign award for Malaysia Effies.
