Chiew will be tasked with helping to drive the agency's creative profile in the region, working across Iris' client list which includes Sony Ericsson, Adidas, Johnnie Walker, Tiger Beer and Audi.

Chiew joins from JWT Singapore where he was associate creative director. Prior to joining JWT in 2006 as a senior copywriter, he worked with communications agency 10AM as a copywriter, and before that he was with Crush and Orange Interactive.

Over the course of his career, Chiew has been involved in developing global, regional and local campaigns for a client list that includes HSBC, Lux, Silkair and the Economic Development Board of Singapore. He has won a number of industry awards including three Cannes gold Lions, an Effie and a gold Pencil.

"Chiew is a man of many talents capable of merging great ideas with new technology, crafting beautiful copy as well as being a creative leader," said Naidu.

Chiew is the latest in a string of hires for the rapidly growing Singapore-based agency. In the past two years it has grown from 25 to 70 people and has earned a reputation as one of the region's most successul agencies. Recent campaigns by Iris Singapore include ‘Climacool Ride’ and ‘All24’ for Adidas and the new launch of STR bottle for Heineken.
