SINGAPORE - Iris has appointed Daniel Fang (pictured) as group account director at its Singapore office.

Iris hires Proximity's Daniel Fang as group account director
Fang joins this month from Proximity Singapore, where he held the same role and led regional work for Aviva including brand sponsorship activation and direct marketing campaigns.

He will report in to Iris Singapore MD Craig Mapleston and will drive the agency’s largest accounts including Sony Ericsson and Tiger Beer among others. Tiger Beer recently appointed Iris to activate its sponsorships.

Mapleston said: “The only way to offer clients competitive advantage is to invest time, effort and money and get specialists on board. It’s great to have Daniel join the team to take our key accounts to the next level, some of which he’s worked with before such as Tiger.”

Prior to Proximity, Fang was group account director at Bates141 Singapore where he led both the activation and PR teams on brands such as American Express, HP, Tiger and Shell.

He was formerly head of acquisition marketing at Citibank International Personal Bank.
