iProspect North Asia hires Joann Kim as regional digital director

SEOUL - Joann Kim has joined iProspect North Asia as regional director, digital, to bolster the Aegis Media agency's service to clients in Japan and Korea who are demanding search and performance marketing services.

Kim, who joins from Samsung, will be responsible for business development, covering Korea and Japan. She has more than 17 years of experience in digital marketing and ecommerce. She has worked with global clients including HP, Samsung, Johnson & Johnson, and Yahoo.

Ruth Stubbs, president iProspect and Digital Media APAC, called Kim's hiring an "almost an unfair advantage" in South Korea and Japan, a region the where the agency is seeing increased focus from its global clients and more demand for search and performance-marketing among local brands.
