The client currently works with Leo Burnett and M&C Saatchi for branding and activation respectively.

The pitch is the result of their wish to consolidate the advertising for their credit card business under one agency.

IPG is expected to commence work next month. Sources close to the news revealed that Carol Lam, MD and chief creative officer of McCann Worldgroup Shanghai, will lead the account.

BoCom has engaged a number of agencies including Bates and Leo Burnett to work on other parts of their businesses.
