ICC hires Elite Step as PR partner

HONG KONG - International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that sports PR agency Elite Step Asia has been hired to run the event management and PR side of its annual conference.

The event will be held in Hong Kong for the first time from 26 to 30 June. More than 100 ICC international members will attend the event at the W Hotel and the newly-opened Ritz Carlton Hotel to discuss the immediate development and direction of the association.

Elite Step is charged to handle the event management and leisure programmme for the participants.

ICC previously hosted the conference in London and last year the event took place in Singapore for the first time.

The agency was appointed to the project through clients’ referral and past sports PR marketing credentials, which includes the Asian Five Nations, HK Tens, Hong Kong Sevens, Hong Kong Open (Golf) - UBS Title Sponsorship Activiation, Bledisloe Cup 2008 and 2010, Credit Suisse’s global ambassador Roger Federer’s Hong Kong Visit in 2010, and the Adidas's Adizero product launch PR project last January.
