Focus Media Network receives investment boost from Gen2 Partners

HONG KONG - Focus Media Network, a digital out-of-home media company, has announced an additional investment by Asia-based Gen2 Partners Limited.

Gen2 Partners now owns 9.65 per cent of the issued share capital of Focus Media Network, becoming the Company’s third largest shareholder.

P J Wong, co-founder, chairman, CEO and executive director of Focus Media Network, said, “We are very encouraged to receive this endorsement from Gen2 Partners. This has given our management team greater confidence in pursuing even more ambitious growth strategies."

"We have high expectations for both the company and the management team and we see considerable room for the company to further enhance its market penetration with steady growth and market development," commented Barry Lau, managing partner and chief investment officer of Gen2 Partners.

Founded in April 2004, Focus Media Networks deploys digital flat-panel displays across Singapore and Hong Kong. The company was recently listed on the GEM board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
