FIC Malaysia makes several appointments

KUALA LUMPUR - Fox International Channels (FIC) has made several appointments, in a bid to grow its presence in the country.

Fiona Anne Balasingam has been appointed as senior manager of programming to head the channel’s localisation efforts. She will be responsible for defining and implementing strategies to customise FIC channels for their viewers.

FIC has also made three hires to provide Astro Media Sales, advertisers and agencies with creative and integrated partnership solutions.

The team are Zanny Liu (senior manager of ad sales and partnerships); Andreas Olsson (assistant manager) as well as Victoria Ong (senior executive), to take charge of growing the channel revenues, key market segments, key accounts and develop new partnership-driven opportunities.

They report to Basil Chua, director and territory head of Fox International Channels, who said Malaysia is one of the fastest growing markets for FIC in Southeast Asia.

“As the leading international multi-channel pay TV broadcaster operating 17 channel brands in Malaysia, we are committed to continue building our local presence and long term engagement with our key stakeholders,” he added.
