The seven-day event will feature China’s number one golfer, Liang Wen-chong, US Open champion Rory McIlroy, three-time major champion Ernie Els, and Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter. They will play 18 individual holes of golf across five courses in six cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Dalian, Chongqing, Dongguan and Macau) over the second week of October.

The tournament will be managed by Infinite Ideas International, which has selected Fast Track Hong Kong to manage all media aspects of the event, both in China and internationally. The accout was won through referral.

IMG Media will also produce TV footage of the whole event, and will showcase the latest golfing and travel facilities in these cities. The TV programme will be distributed to various channels in Europe, America and Asia later this year.

Apart from Shiu On Land as the title sponsor, Bombardier will offer private jets to the players and their teams to commute between the five cities.

"The Shui On Land China Golf Challenge is something very different with players competing over a number of courses instead of the customary single course," said Dan Parr, (pictured) business director, Fast Track Hong Kong. "We’re excited to be involved with an event that is breaking the mould. "

Fast Track’s international client credential includes Lucozade Sport, G4S, Emirates and Land Rover.  The agency also manages HSBC’s international rugby portfolio including the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens, the HSBC Asian 5 Nations and the HSBC Asian 7s Series.
