Falzon for dual role at Nielsen

BANGKOK - Duncan Falzon (pictured) has been appointed executive director, Nielsen Media Thailand & Media Index, Asia-Pacific.

He will be based in Bangkok and report to Richard Basil-Jones, managing director, Media Asia Pacific, The Nielsen Company.

Falzon will lead and manage Nielsen’s media business and advertising information service in Thailand, in addition to taking a strategic leadership role for Nielsen’s Media index service across nine markets in Asia Pacific.

The position of managing director Thailand has been empty for some time whereas the Media Index position was vacated recently by Helen Perberton, who has relocated back to the UK.

Falzon most recently was associate director and chief representative, Asia Pacific, KMR Group (part of WPP Group) in Beijing, responsible for expanding the Target Group Index (TGI) service in Asia via strategic partnerships in China, Japan, South Korea and South East Asia.
