BEIJING - Euro RSCG Beijing has reappointed industry veterans James Chen (pictured left) and Doze Tou (right) as its new managing director and executive creative director respectively.

Euro RSCG welcomes back veterans James Chen and Doze Tou to its Beijing team
Chen and Tou replace the outgoing MD Tammy Sheu and ECD Jordan Hsueh, who both resigned earlier this year for personal reasons.

The announcement follows the return of Euro RSCG veteran Mason Lin as CEO of Greater China based in Shanghai. Tou and Chen will report to Lin and work across the Beijing offices in leading accounts including Master Kong, Dongfeng Peugeot, Samsung Mobile and China Telecom.

Chen was most recently VP and MD of Shunya Advertising. He worked at Euro RSCG Beijing between 1998 to 2005, where he rose through the ranks from account director to MD. As GM and MD, he oversaw the growth of the agency from 50 staff in 2000 to over 200 people in 2005, winning blue chips clients including Master Kong Bakery, Peugeot, Cisco and Agricultural Bank of China.

Tou’s most recent position was ECD of Ogilvy Auto, serving clients including FAW Volkswagen and Haima. Prior to this he was the ECD at Shunya Advertising.

Tou also joined Euro RSCG Partnership in Taiwan in 1990, moving to Euro RSCG Beijing in 1996. In Beijing he helped grow the creative department from a copywriter, designer and creative director to over 100 specialised creatives across advertising, marketing services, interaction and healthcare.

“Chen and Tou have the rare ability to drive strong new business growth while building long-lasting relationships with clients," said Lin. "Beijing is an important market with strong potential, and together we share ambitious aspirations for our operations there. I am excited to be welcoming them back.”
