The game, called Spore Origins, will use the gadget’s inbuilt motion-sensor technology to allow players to twist and shake their devices to direct their way out of an ooze-engulfed world.

EA Mobile further announced it will release nine additional games for the iPhone and iPod Touch throughout the rest of the year, including Mahjong, Monopoly, Need for Speed Undercover and SimCity.

Spore Origins will be globally available through Apple's App Store or can be accessed on EA Mobile‚s website via an iPhone.
