Digital agency Reading Room opens in Singapore

SINGAPORE – Digital agency Reading Room has opened an office in Singapore as part of a wider expansion into Asia.

With offices in the UK and Australia, the agency is looking to add to its 180-person workforce in Asia, starting in Singapore with further offices planned for Shanghai, Mumbai and Japan over the next twelve months.

Reading Room provides a very broad range of expertise in digital services covering both design and technology in equal measure. They provide consultancy creative and production services for web, social and mobile channels including user research, content management, SEO and campaign management.

Reading Room boasts a broad range of clients from large brands such as Diageo and Porsche to small charities. Reading Room specialises in the Government, Education, Health (Pharma), Finance and Cultural sectors working for organisations such as Philips Healthcare in Singapore, the Australian Museum in Sydney, Barclays Bank and the London Business School.

The agency was also selected to work with Clarence House, Accenture and Google on the Royal Wedding website.

Chief executive officer Margaret Manning is a well-respected industry figure and entrepreneur who recently featured on a BBC TV series as a business mentor and was voted Best Entrepreneur in EMEA at the International Stevie Awards in New York as well as holding a clutch of further entrepreneurial awards,

Currently they hold the Gold European Seal of e-Excellence, the only European digital agency to achieve this award and were ranked the top digital agency in the UK for value for money, effective creative, strategy, account management and senior management quality by over 600 senior marketing executives in an industry survey.
