Dentsu Indonesia win Soy Joy account from Ogilvy & Mather

JAKARTA - Dentsu Indonesia has won the creative and media account for Japanese nutrition bar brand Soy Joy following a pitch that involved several agencies including Lowe, Hakuhodo and incumbent Ogilvy & Mather.

The account is believed to be worth US$1.5 million.

A pioneer it is category, Soy Joy is produced by Amerta Indah Otsuka, a subsidiary of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Group, and was launched in Indonesia two years ago.

Dentsu Indonesia already handles the company's isotonic drink brand Pocari Sweat while, Media Palette (Dentsu Media) handles all its media planning and buying.

Last year in October, Indonesian cigarette producer Nojorono Tobacco aligned its branding and media business with Media Cubic, a subsidiary of Dentsu Media, in the domestic market. The account included duties for the company’s key Clas Mild, Minak Djinggo and Niko brands.
