This agreement is part of SkyCable’s digital rollout plans. The channel will be available to all Gold Tier digital subscribers on channel 111 when the product rolls out commercially in May 2009. Subscribers who wish to view CNBC without joining the Gold Tier Package will be able to do so via SkyCable’s à la carte service option.

“This renewal agreement with SkyCable will further enhance our distribution and strengthen our presence in the Philippines”, said Jacqueline Lam (pictured), head of network distribution, CNBC Asia Pacific.

CNBC is already distributed on SkyCable’s Metro Pack Tier.
